Shanti Lodge is a semi-detached 3-bedroom house not far from Walsall city centre. The home can accommodate two young people of any gender between the ages of 8 to 18.
Young people will have their own bedroom where they can have privacy and relax. Bedrooms are decorated in calming and neutral tones upon arrival, but young people can choose their own colour and décor when they settle in. Young people will also be asked to help choose the colour and décor throughout the rest of the home, to ensure they have a true sense of the home being theirs.
Shanti Lodge also has a spacious garden ideal for summer barbecues and games.
Shanti Lodge is situated in the Pleck area of Walsall and has easy access to local facilities and amenities. Within the local city of Walsall there are a range of cultural and recreational facilities including parks, libraries, and sports facilities along with religious and cultural centres. There is access to a wide range of educational and entertainment facilities including cinemas, museums, theatres and bowling alleys, as well as opportunities to support local football teams.
Our three bed house is a homely environment where we offer a range of amenities for our young people. We work hard to refrain from looking institutionalised. Each young person will have their own spacious bedroom, furnished to a high standard with adequate storage space, a desk and chair and lockable cupboard for personal possessions.

Children and young people are encouraged to take ownership of their bedroom through their choice of bedding, posters, pictures, books and personal items. Children and young people will share toilet and bathing facilities. There is one large bath & shower room, one en suite bedroom and an extra walk in shower and toilet room downstairs.
Wragley Lodge is close to various bus links which give easy access to Derby City Centre and walking distance of Sinfin district centre which contains a library, various shops, medical and dental centre, optometrists and an Asda supermarket. A leisure complex containing a bowling alley, go carting, laser and Cinema are located just two miles away. Derby city centre provides children and young people with access to cinemas, theatre such as the Derby Playhouse, art galleries, museums, a large shopping mall as well as Derby County FC’s Pride Park stadium. Moorways Sports Complex, including a gym and swimming pool is located on the Derby ring road. There are also other recreational and cultural amenities, and parks that will allow young people to follow their interests. At the local School there are many clubs and activities on throughout the week.
